Travelling

In the past travelling from one place to another wasn´t so easy. People usually used to travel on foot, on a horseback, in carriages, later in trains. Nowadays, people often must travel every day and travelling is important for our life. And travelling is today also a kind of entertainment. It serves for transport us from one place to the other place. People travel because of work, recreation, studies, knowledge etc.

Travelling by car
People are going to work by car if they live far away of their workplace or by urban mass transportation if they live at the same place. Automobiles became common within twenty years of their appearance. Every American family has at least two cars nowadays.
The travelling by car is better in comparison with travelling by train. Trains usually have delay and they are often overfilled. By train we must travel on tracks so we can’t get where we want. The fastest travelling is travelling by plane but it is still the most expensive.
Buses or cars aren’t very friendly to the environment because of gasses in the atmosphere, which cause green house effect. Gasses cause breathe damages, terrible noise from motor vehicles cause on the human mentality.

Travelling by plane

When we want travel by plane so we have to buy air ticket. We can collude with travel agencies in our state. This transport need to look. Air travelers have to wait in long queues at security barriers and early check in times annoy then. Many people are nervous. Air travelers mustn´t take food and water to plane. And they mustn´t have weapons.
Travelling by plane has many advantages. Planes are fast and comfortable. We can look out the window and see the clouds, sea or beautiful landscape. This is wonderful feeling. We can get drink´s and food, we can watch TV, listening music, sleeping and also we can go to toilet.
Travelling by plane also has some disadvantages. It is expensive and the plane isn´t punctual. Air port is often cramped. Staff at the air port can lose our baggage´s and so we have worries.

Travelling by bus

Travelling by bus is cheap and that is the big advantage. That´s why buses are used mainly students. Sometimes they are very crowded and dirty. The bus must be ridden by careless drivers. Bus is very uncomfortable for me and I hate them because there is not usually toilet and privacy.

Travelling by train

Before we want to travel by train we have to buy ticket in the railway station. It looks like this: a big hall with a ticket office where we can buy a single or return ticket, waiting hall, a restaurant, a drink machine. From this hall we go into the platform. Then we get on the train and look for a free seat.
Travelling by train is no stressful traffic, and trains are fast and comfortable. In the train we can just sit, read, eat, work with computer or relax. By trains we can travel on holiday.
Travelling by train also has some disadvantages for example it is expensive. Also the trains are sometimes crowded and delayed. But travelling by train is not as expensive as travelling by plane. If we want to travel somewhere we need to taxi or bus to we came on designated place of the railway station.

Travelling by ship

It is typical for example for British channel. Passengers are transported by ferry, but now they can travel in tunnel. Ship is really quite slow. The big advantage is, that you can take more luggage. We can get seasickness.

Travelling by bike

This way of travelling is favourite because it’s inexpensive, enviroment-friendly and it also keeps us fit. It can only be useful when we travel at shorter distances.

Travelling on foot

This is the most common way of travelling. Walking is enviroment-friendly, it costs nothing, but it’s the slowest and least comfortable way of travelling.
